Conner is 7 months!

I can't believe my baby boy is already 7 months old! I think the speed of time doubles when you have a baby...I got a few pics of him today, I plan on taking more of him soon- I know, I know, how many pics do you need, right? Well, I don't regret it at all because he's only a baby once! I love this age, he gets tickled at the smallest things. Right now he's sitting in my lap turning back to look at me and laughing. SO adorable!

Conner is a little rolly polly, exploring new things all over the floor :)  He hasn't figured crawling out quite yet, and he doesn't seem interested in learning. He starts griping if he can't reach something infront of him and he can't roll to get it.

He has a new habit of PULLING HAIR, which is extremely annoying, but I'll forgive him :)

He also likes to feel my face as he goes to sleep, sometimes slightly scratching and pinching me lol. It's so sweet though and I love feeling his soft little hands on my face!

He's doing really well sitting up! He still loses his balance sometimes, but he's learned how to get to his belly from sitting up (thanks to a few face plants into the floor).

He eats solids 1-2 times a day; Apples seem to taste bitter to him but he eats them anyway lol. He likes pretty much everything though.

Mum Mums are his favorite snack, he houses them with no problem. It's nice having them when I go out, because they keep him entertained along with his juice.

Here are the pics I got of him today, I love his blue eyes! We wondered if he was going to have my blue eyes or his daddy's green and as you can see, I won...but he got everything else from his daddy :)

He LOVES dogs! He smiles and laughs every time he sees them!

Weekly Scripture- Do not worry

So this scripture is simple and self explainatory, yet so powerful! It's impossible to see through God's eyes and know his plans, so I think it's hilarious when I finally realize...Christian, you don't know best. I find myself worrying about all the political things going on today, worrying about the safety of my husband, worrying about Conner and family being okay, finances...we all have a list of things that could go on for days. We really have to take this scripture, memorize it, and put it to use. After all, that is what God's wonderful word is here for! Anytime we find ourselves worrying about anything, we have to put this scripture to use and HONESTLY TRUST that God's plan for us is better HIS way instead of ours. So next time we see and hear all the things around us causing us to worry, remember that there is a way bigger picture than what we're seeing now. There's no doubt that it's hard, but we'll find that our faith will grow stronger with every little thing we put our trust in God about. So STOP worrying! Tomorrow WILL worry about itself, because worrying about it now will only ruin today!

So I've started a blog!

As you can see I've decided to start a blog! There are alot of reasons I decided to, one being I want to keep up with Conner's milestones and what's going on in my life (I can make a book from it). Secondly, I plan to do a weekly scripture and write about how it relates to my life...I've been needing more motivation to read the bible, so what better excuse than to blog about it :)  Also, we have family and friends that live far away and anyone that knows me is aware I'm horrible about calling people (oops). I could go on about reasons, but those are just a few!  Here are some topics I plan on posting about:

    >  My husband, son, family, and friends...of course that would be expected :)
    >  My life as a military wife. Struggles we go through but also the perks of the lifestyle.
    >  Weekly devotionals and how God is moving in my life.
    >   I have a passion for photography, so I'm sure I'll be sharing plenty of my pics with you guys.
    >   Recipes/ crafts/anything else that comes to mind

So, with all of that said, here is a pic of my little family!

The loves of my life...My husband, Mark, and our baby boy Conner (7months)

Hopefully I won't bore you guys with my posts and you'll enjoy reading about my journey...lots of posts to come, so keep in check!
